Proof of ID and address requirements

We are required by law under the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations to obtain proof of ID and address for all customers who use our registered address services and also customers who form multiple compan ies using our website.

We require proof of address and ID for the following services:

  • Registered office address
  • Director, Secretary, Shareholder Service address
  • Business address (General Mail Forwarding)
  • Non-Residents company formation packages using any of above
Acceptable forms of proof of ID and address
We honestly do not wish to create more paperwork and bureaucracy than is absolutely necessary as it generates more internal costs to us than we would like. These Regulations, though, are very clear, very strict and impose very heavy penalties upon any person deemed to be non-compliant, stretching quickly to custodial sentencing.
We process the ID of UK residents through our online ID verification process, and subject to passing the checks, you will not be required to provide certified copies of proof of ID and address.
All residents failingour ID verification process, and all non-UK residents will be required to provide certified ID and proof of address documents by email or post, as follows:

Proof of ID we can accept:

  • Passport
  • Driving licence (photocard only, no paper UK driving licences can be accepted)
  • HM Forces identity card
  • National identity card
  • Student Card (must be current)
  • Employment identification card
  • Disabled drivers blue pass

Proof of address we can accept:

The document must be dated within the last 3 months, and it must show both the person's name and address.
  • HMRC Notification
  • Telephone Bill (excluding mobile phone bill)
  • Gas, Water, Electricity Bill
  • Mortgage statement
  • Council tax bill
  • Bank statement
  • Credit Card Statement
